DISPENSING KNOWLEDGE

Caring for our Community: Lending a Helping Hand through PPE Donations

Sira, like most companies have been affected by Covid-19. We continue operations at our medical dispensaries and look forward to supporting the Adult-use market through supplying stores throughout the state when ready. We’ve been working diligently on a full re-open plan for returning to our regular stores hours, coordinating deliveries to dispensary partners and more; including working with local officials and health care experts.

But what we’ve enjoyed most during this difficult era, is spending time in our community- making donations and helping as much as we can. Here are a few highlights from the past week!

Last week, three members of our team met Nurse Harris at the Somerville Human Health Services Office. The Sira Team was there to donate 2,000 gloves and 2,000 masks and thank Nurse Harris for helping Sira with health and safety recommendations during the past weeks.

We were greeted by several employees who expressed lots of gratitude and excitement about the donations. They noted that Sira Naturals has been thinking ahead and it shows. We are grateful to be in a position to help our community while continuing our own standard of quality and care.

As the state of Massachusetts begins to work on opening back up, we hope they will take into consideration all the precautions and advice we’ve sought out.

On Friday, May 1, Government Relations & Community Investment Program Assistant, Tanisha DeLeon dropped off 250 masks, 200 pairs of gloves, and seven bottles of hand sanitizer to the Boston Police Department.

Tanisha reiterated how happy Sira Naturals was to make the donation when speaking to the BPD Officers, and how personal safety is an issue close to all of us.
